Parts Of An Insect

This exercise allows pupils to answer questions about parts of a insect.

On the page is a picture of a Wasp with various parts of it labelled. Unfortunately the labels have no words. Drag words from the box on the right to replace all the question marks in the picture so that the Wasp is correctly labelled. You can also replace a word you have placed already by dragging a different word onto it.

When you think you have labelled the Wasp correctly you can use the finish button (chequered flag) to check what you got right. Labels with the right words are watered. If there are any labels with incorrect words these will get burnt before going back in the word box. You should continue until the Wasp is properly labelled.

The page has the following buttons at top left:
