An investigation of invertebrate feeding habitats and feeding adaptations.
At left of the screen are a number of invertebrates. On the picture at centre is a red box indicating a common feeding habitat for one or more of them. You have to draq and drop the correct creature (or one of the the correct creatures in some cases) onto the best habitat area. Get it right and the creature stays there, get it wrong and it moves back.
When you correctly place a creature in some cases you will see another set of pictures to the right showing feeding adaptations. You have to drag the correct mouthparts onto the creature you have just placed. Again, get it right and the creature stays there, get it wrong and it moves back.
Once a habitat has been correctly filled and, where applicable, the correct mouthparts have been placed on the creature, a new habitat is shown. The exercise ends when all the habitats have been filled.
