The Data item on the menu provides access to different resources in the program. You may view information or do an interactive exercise. When appropriate you may print or copy from here. This is also one route to exit the program.
Not all options are appropriate to all parts of the program, and may be unavailable or 'greyed out'.
This option opens a pictorial index of Web-type Information Pages on UK wildlife. Click on any of the text links to open an associated web-type page containing text.
This option opens the Interactives Index page with a list of Interactive Exercises on UK animals. Click on any of these to start the investigation exercise. Those currently available are:
This option is only available when you are viewing a Species Plate or a web-type Information page.
For a Species Plate the picture is copied to the clipboard. Once there you may paste it into another application that will accept a graphics image, such as a paint package, using Ctrl-V or a paste command. complete species plate copies the complete form picture, excluding buttons and the text labels, to the clipboard. species plate main picture copies only the main picture to the clipboard. This is a full sized version of the picture you see in the Thumbnail Browser.
For an Information page Copy Information Sheet copies the text only to the clipboard. Once there you may paste it into another application that will accept text, such as a Word Processor or Notepad, using Ctrl-V or a paste command. Note there are also methods of copying selected text or images - see Information page.

This option is only available when the form displayed is printable.
Print setup brings up a standard Windows Print Setup Dialog from which you may choose and configure your printer and set up page and paper options.Effect of left clicking on the Printing... option depends on the form currently displayed:
