These exercises will run in Internet Explorer, version 5.0 or better. They may not run in other browsers at the present time. Once all images have downloaded they will resize to the available window, but for best results you should select view full screen on the browser menu.

Brief instructions on each page should be all you need to get started but look for the help button (with question mark) if you need more detailed instructions.

Using keys to distinguish animals or plants. Click on the question box and enter a question that distinguishes the pictured items. Then drag each picture to either the yes or no side. Repeat until you have a key diagram with all items distinguished.

Finding food webs. Click on a plant or animal and then try to find the animal that eats it. Get it right and an arrow is drawn. Watch out for the Gatekeeper zombie if you get it wrong.

Matching the butterfly to the plant where it lays its eggs. Put the butterfly on the right plant and it flaps there contentedly. Put it on the wrong plant and it flies back in a huff.
