Making keys
This exercise allows you to distinguish between items using questions with yes or no answers, for example,
"Does it have narrow pointed leaves?" Questions could be based just on the pictures
or they could be based on anything else you can find
out about these plants or animals. The names are given when you open the dialog.
Initially you will see a box at the top of the page with small thumbnails of some items beneath.
Click on the box, then follow the instructions that will appear.
Each time you provide a question that distinguishes between some of the items the tree is
extended and new boxes appear with the items beneath that have not yet been distinguished from
each other. Click on any box with "Click here to enter a question" and repeat the process until
the tree is complete with just one picture in each branch. Use the scroll bar at right if necessary.
The scroll button fetches a different set of key items. This is only available when the page is first opened.
The close button closes the page.
