Photosynthesis

This exercise allows pupils to enter short descriptions of how a green plant uses the sun, the air and the soil to make its own food.

Click on each of the boxes and type a short explanation of how each of these supplies the plant with something it needs and how photosynthesis uses it to make food for the plant. When you are happy with your answers, put your name in the box at bottom left and press the print button to print the page.

If you are viewing this page from Plants UK you may also save your answers and reload them into this page later using the two lower buttons. This facility is not available if the exercise is opened in Internet Explorer.
