The following updates are currently available. First check your copy of Invertebrates UK to see what updates you really need. Click on the underlined text to update.
Update 01. Fixes a minor error in the species text. Click the red ladybird button on right to view the species, select Garden Slug or Garden Snail using the preview bar at bottom then click the text (question mark) button at left. You need this update if the third picture at left only shows a small cross. This update also instals brighter backgrounds for the identify boxes.
Ensure Invertebrates UK is not running. You will need to be logged in as administrator or be able to provide administrator permission.
Click on the above text. In the File Download dialog select Open to install the upgrade. If you get a Windows security warning box asking if you wish to install the file click Yes. (Alternatively you can choose save to disk and install later by click on the file.)
After download is complete the self extracting file will open. The update setup works in the same way as Invertebrates UK install but no serial numbers or user details are required. Click next on the first page.
If Invertebrates UK was installed in the default directory of C:\Program Files\Invertebrates UK or C:\Program Files\Invertebrates UK (x86) just click next when asked, otherwise use the browse button to locate the correct directory first. Click next.
Click install on the last page. The updates will now be available in Invertebrates UK in the same way as existing content.
Note: Unless stated, updates do not modify system files or settings. There is no need to shut down other applications.
